Frequently Asked Questions
The ChildFund Draw for Hope weekly prize draw is a new way to raise funds to help children in the world’s poorest places grow up safe, healthy, and educated. Every entry gives you the chance of winning one of 76 guaranteed cash prizes each week, with the top prize being $500. By taking part, you’re helping children and their families at the same time as being in with a chance to win a prize.
A prize draw occurs every Friday (the first draw will take place on June 11, 2021).
Our weekly prize draw is a fun and exciting way for supporters to raise funds to help ChildFund support children growing up in the world’s poorest places. We hope that by offering a choice of ways to get involved, we will reach more people and continue to engage our existing and valued supporters too.
Every week, all our Draw for Hope entrants have the chance to win 1 of 76 guaranteed cash prizes:
1st prize: $500
2nd prize: $10 (75 to be won)
With all our fundraising activity, we are careful to keep the costs as low as possible to ensure the maximum contribution for our programs. We anticipate that the money we raise through the weekly prize draw will significantly exceed the prize money offered each week. We also hope that the prize draw will help us to reach new supporters too. We continually monitor the cost-effectiveness of all our fundraising activities, which includes the Draw for Hope.
